Jessica Clinton Community Park

Today Jessica Lynn Clinton lives on through the efforts of a foundation created in her honor, a foundation dedicated to developing awareness of this dreaded condition and providing Automated External Defibrillators for schools and parks throughout the state of Florida.

In recognition of Jessica Clinton’s life and the foundation created in her honor Jessica’s former Soccer Coach, suggested to the Port Saint Lucie City Council that a park be established in her name. It was a request endorsed by all who knew Jessica and when the City Council met to discuss the proposal hundreds of Port Saint Lucie Teens showed up to support the request. It was an outpouring of love and show of support greater than any previously seen within this age group. The proposal passed unanimously.

The Jessica Clinton Memorial Park is a 20 acre tribute to the young cheerleader who was loved by all. Located in the South Bend area of Port Saint Lucie, the park features something for everyone-exercise trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, a soccer field, a playground, party pavilions, and a tranquil memorial garden with bricks bearing the names of loved ones lost. One of the Automated External Defibrillators given out by the Jessica Clinton MVP Foundation went to this park and is still in use today.
