Jessica Clinton

Blonde, green-eyed Jessica was seventeen years old; she was a daughter, a sister, a cheerleader, a homecoming princess, a girl loved and admired by her classmates; she was the president of Saint Lucie West Centennial High School’s Student Council—but she was also one of the millions never diagnosed with an underlying heart condition called Mitral Valve Prolapse.

It was perhaps the only flaw in this girl who friends and family remember as perfect… the only flaw, but one that took her life on October 2, 2003.

Today Jessica Lynne Clinton lives on through the efforts of a foundation created in her honor, a foundation dedicated to developing awareness of this dreaded condition and providing Automated External Defibrillators for schools and parks throughout the state of Florida.
